Ahmedabad – Vadodara Intercity to Short-Terminate at Bajwa Railway Station

Vadodara: Due to a major block for yard remodeling and electronic interlocking work at Vadodara station under the Vadodara division of Western Railway, temporary changes are being made in the operation of several trains. To ensure passenger convenience and safe railway operations, the termination and origination of some trains are being temporarily shifted to Vishwamitri (VS), Bajwa (BJW), and Chhayapuri (CYI) stations.

According to Western Railway, the period of short termination/origination of the Vadodara-Kota Express at Chhayapuri station and the Vadodara-Ahmedabad Intercity Express at Bajwa station has now been extended from May 30, 2026, to June 20, 2026.

Short Termination/Origination Details:

  • Train No. 19819 Vadodara-Kota Express will short-originate from Chhayapuri station from May 31, 2026, to June 20, 2026, and will remain cancelled between Vadodara and Chhayapuri.
  • Train No. 19820 Kota-Vadodara Express will short-terminate at Chhayapuri station from May 30, 2026, to June 19, 2026, and will remain cancelled between Chhayapuri and Vadodara.
  • Train No. 19036 Ahmedabad-Vadodara Intercity Express will short-terminate at Bajwa station from May 31, 2026, to June 20, 2026, and will remain cancelled between Bajwa and Vadodara.
  • Train No. 19035 Vadodara-Ahmedabad Intercity Express will short-originate from Bajwa station from May 31, 2026, to June 20, 2026, and will remain cancelled between Vadodara and Bajwa.
