GSRTC Launches Deesa – Surat AC Volvo Bus Service

Deesa: In a move aimed at improving long-distance public transport connectivity between North and South Gujarat, the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) today launched a new hi-tech AC Volvo bus service between Deesa and Surat.
The new service is expected to make travel more comfortable and convenient for passengers by offering upgraded amenities and enhanced safety features.
According to the announced schedule, the Volvo bus will depart daily from Deesa at 12:30 pm, while the return service from Surat will leave every day at 6:00 am.
The route will cover several major towns and cities, with halts at Deesa, Palanpur, Siddhpur Bypass, Unjha, Mehsana, Modhera, Ranip, Ahmedabad, CTM, Vadodara, Ankleshwar GIDC and Surat.
The newly introduced Volvo bus will have a seating capacity of 47 passengers and feature 2×2 leather pushback seats for a more comfortable travel experience. Passengers will also have access to mobile charging facilities and LED television screens onboard.
To strengthen passenger safety, the bus has been equipped with CCTV cameras, a fire safety sprinkler system, smoke detector alarms, hatches fitted with exhaust fans, and an emergency exit door.
The initiative is expected to further strengthen transport infrastructure in North Gujarat and provide commuters with a modern and safer intercity travel option. DeshGujarat
