GUJCTOC Invoked Against 6 Members of Saycha Gang in Jamnagar

Jamnagar: Six members of an alleged criminal gang involved in 74 serious offences have been arrested in Gujarat’s Jamnagar district, police said on Thursday.
Police have invoked the stringent Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organised Crime (GUJCTOC) Act against the accused, identified as Ghulam Saycha, Mahebub Saycha, Asgar Saycha, Hanif Saycha, Imtiyaz Saycha, and Razak alias Razak Supari.
According to Jamnagar SP Ravi Mohan Saini, the accused are members of the “Saycha gang,” which is allegedly involved in a range of offences, including murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, extortion, firing incidents, Arms Act violations, illegal money lending, land grabbing, criminal intimidation, gambling, and offences under prohibition laws.
Police said a case under the GUJCTOC Act has been registered at the Jamnagar City B Division police station. DeshGujarat
