Dehgam: A strange incident came to light in Rakhiyal village of Dehgam, where a monkey cub suffered for three days after its head got stuck inside a copper pot.

According to local residents, the monkey cub accidentally got its head trapped in the pot while jumping near a house in the village. Despite repeated attempts to free itself, it was unable to remove the pot and continued roaming around in distress with a group of monkeys.

The cub reportedly wandered in a painful condition for three consecutive days with the copper pot stuck on its head, making it difficult for the animal to move and function normally.

After receiving information about the incident, a team from the Forest Department, along with members of the Sadbhavna Foundation, rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. The team made considerable efforts to safely catch the cub.

Following a difficult rescue operation, the monkey cub was finally rescued and taken to a nearby house, where rescuers successfully removed the copper pot and freed the animal.

The timely intervention by the Forest Department and volunteers helped save the cub from prolonged suffering.
