With a direct place in the final at stake, two of the most consistent teams of the season will battle for the tournament’s biggest advantage — a chance to secure early qualification and avoid the pressure of an extra playoff game.

RCB finished atop the league standings after maintaining consistency throughout the season, while Gujarat Titans surged into second place following a remarkable turnaround in the latter half of the campaign. The winner of Tuesday’s contest will head straight to the IPL final in Ahmedabad, while the losing side will still get another opportunity through Qualifier 2.
