Amreli and Bhavnagar registered maximum temperatures of 42.1°C and 41.7°C respectively, while Deesa recorded 41.8°C. Baroda reported a high of 40.6°C.

Coastal areas remained relatively cooler due to humidity and sea breeze influence. Surat recorded 35.6°C, Porbandar 35°C, Veraval and Diu 34°C each, while Dwarka remained the coolest at 32.7°C.

No rainfall was reported from any of the major weather stations across Gujarat during the last 24 hours. However, the IMD has forecast rainfall at isolated places in some districts from the coming weekend.

Weather officials said maximum temperatures in several inland districts continued to remain above normal, contributing to hot and uncomfortable conditions during the daytime. DeshGujarat
