Juniper Green Energy Commissions 305 MW Renewable Energy Capacity in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Renewable energy developer Juniper Green Energy on Wednesday announced the commissioning of 305 MW of renewable energy capacity in Gujarat under multiple power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL).
The newly commissioned portfolio includes 183 MW of solar power capacity and 122 MW of wind power capacity spread across projects in Surendranagar, Aravalli, Devbhumi Dwarka and nearby districts, the company said in a statement.
According to the company, all the projects were commissioned ahead of their scheduled commercial operation dates and will contribute to power supply under its agreements with GUVNL.
“The successful commissioning of over 305 MW renewable energy capacity in Gujarat reflects Juniper Green Energy’s strong project execution capabilities and commitment towards delivering sustainable and reliable clean energy solutions,” said Ankush Malik, CEO, Juniper Green Energy.
The commissioning comes after the company recently began commissioning activities for its firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project at Fatehgarh in Rajasthan. DeshGujarat
