Valsad: With the monsoon stalled over South Gujarat for more than two days, there has been very limited rainfall in the state. In the last 24 hours ending at 6 am today, light rain was recorded in scattered areas across only 10 talukas of the state. The highest rainfall of 12 mm was recorded in Umargam of Valsad district and Rapar taluka of Kutch district.
The rainfall recorded during the last 24 hours is as follows:

- 9 mm (0.35 inches) in Vapi, Valsad district
- 9 mm (0.35 inches) in Bhesan, Junagadh district
- 8 mm (0.31 inches) in Godhra, Mahisagar district
- 7 mm (0.28 inches) in Valsad taluka
- 4 mm (0.16 inches) in Sagbara, Narmada district
- 2 mm (0.08 inches) in Rajkot taluka
- 2 mm (0.08 inches) in Chuda, Surendranagar district
- 2 mm (0.08 inches) in Deodar, Vav-Tharad district
