EPFO Online Services to Resume from July 1 After System Upgrade
June 29, 2026
Ahmedabad: As the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is upgrading its database and integrating its software applications, several online member services have been temporarily suspended from June 26. All services are expected to be fully restored from July 1 after the technical work is completed.
The upgrade is aimed at providing members with faster, safer and more efficient digital services in the future.
With EPFO’s online services temporarily unavailable, crores of PF account holders and employers are likely to face inconvenience. During this period, members will not be able to file new PF claims online, including claims related to retirement, job loss, advances or medical emergencies.
Users will also be unable to view or download their PF passbook, making it difficult to check PF deposits and interest credited to their accounts. The facility to track the status of claims, including previously submitted claims, may also be affected.
In addition, some UAN-related services will remain unavailable. Online processes such as KYC updates and changes to member details may also be delayed. Members requiring urgent PF withdrawals could face delays in receiving their funds due to the temporary suspension of claim filing services.
As per the EPFO website, services are scheduled to be fully restored by 00:00 hrs on June 30, 2026. However, some reports claim that members are expected to regain access to all online facilities from July 1. DeshGujarat
