Western Railway to Run Valsad – Velankanni Special Train

Ahmedabad: Western Railway has announced a special train service between Valsad and Velankanni to cater to passenger demand during the travel season.

Train No. 09030 Valsad–Velankanni Special will depart from Valsad at 6:25 pm on July 3 (Friday) and reach Velankanni at 10:00 am on July 5 (Sunday).

On the return journey, Train No. 09029 Velankanni–Dahanu Road Special will leave Velankanni at 12:30 am on July 6 (Monday) and arrive at Dahanu Road at 10:30 am on July 7 (Tuesday).

The special train will halt at Dahanu Road, Palghar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampeta, Renigunta, Katpadi, Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Tirupadiripuliyur, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Thirunallaru, Karaikal, Nagore and Nagapattinam en route.

According to Western Railway, the train will comprise General Second Class coaches and will operate as a special train on special fare.
