BJP Appoints Tarun Chugh as Gujarat In-Charge

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Rajya Sabha MP and National General Secretary Tarun Chugh as the new Gujarat in-charge, according to a party announcement issued on Tuesday.
The appointment was made by BJP National President Nitin Nabin as part of a fresh set of appointments for state in-charges and co-in-charges. Chugh, who is also the BJP’s National Headquarters In-charge, will oversee the party’s organisational affairs in Gujarat in his new role.
The BJP also appointed Vinod Tawde, National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP, as the Uttar Pradesh in-charge, with National Secretary Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel as co-in-charge.
For Punjab, the party appointed Satish Poonia, National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP, as the state in-charge.
The BJP said the appointments will take effect immediately. It added that appointments for other states will be announced in due course, while the existing Prabhari arrangements will continue until then. DeshGujarat
