Amit Shah on Gujarat Visit

Ahmedabad: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is set to begin his visit to his home state of Gujarat later today. As per the BJP, Shah is scheduled to attend a series of programmes in Gujarat on August 27, including the inauguration of a newly built lake in Amreli, a review meeting on preparations for the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, and Gujarat Vidyapith’s 72nd convocation.

As part of his first programme, Shah will inaugurate ‘Het Ni Haveli’ lake at 11:30 am. The lake has been built by the Harikrishna Foundation at Panchganga Tirth in Dudhala, Amreli district.

At 2:15 pm, he will attend a review meeting on preparations for the Olympic and Commonwealth Games at the Circuit House Annexe in Shahibaug, Ahmedabad.

Shah will then attend the 72nd convocation ceremony of Gujarat Vidyapith at 3:45 pm at Pranjivan Vidyarthi Bhavan on Ashram Road in Navrangpura.

At 5:30 pm, the Union minister will attend the RV Patel PharmInnova Awards 2026, organised by Troikaa Pharmaceutical Ltd, at Taj Skyline, Taj Sankalp Square 3, Sindhubhavan Road, Thaltej.

His final programme of the day is scheduled for 6:15 pm, when he will attend a Lok Darbar in the Ghatlodia Assembly constituency, covering the Ambli-Bopal-Ghuma area. The event will be held at BKM School on Bopal Panchayat Road in Bopal, Ahmedabad. DeshGujarat
