Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express to start regular service from Oct 3; timetable, stoppages here

Surat: Western Railway will introduce the Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express, providing faster and more comfortable rail connectivity between Gujarat and Rajasthan. The train will operate six days a week, except Tuesdays, with regular services beginning on October 3, 2026.
According to Western Railway, Train No. 26903 Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express will commence regular service from Surat on October 4, while Train No. 26904 Udaipur-Surat Vande Bharat Express will begin its regular service from Udaipur on October 3.
The inaugural run of the service will be operated from Surat on October 2, 2026, as Train No. 09103 Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Special.
Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat timetable
Train No. 26903 will depart from Surat at 6:10 am and arrive at Udaipur at 1:40 pm on the same day. It will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
In the return direction, Train No. 26904 will depart from Udaipur at 3:35 pm and reach Surat at 11 pm on the same day. It will also operate on the same six days of the week.
The train will cover around 530 km in approximately 7 hours and 30 minutes, with an average speed of about 69 kmph.

Stoppages
En route, the train will halt at Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Maninagar, Asarva, Himmatnagar, Shamlaji Road, Dungarpur and Zawar stations in both directions.
The train will have eight coaches, comprising Executive Chair Car and AC Chair Car coaches.
The service is expected to improve connectivity between southern Gujarat, Ahmedabad and north Gujarat and key destinations in Rajasthan, including Dungarpur and Udaipur.
Booking for Train No. 26903 will open on October 1, 2026, at passenger reservation system (PRS) counters and through the IRCTC website. Passengers travelling on reserved tickets have been advised to carry their original identity proof.
