Morbi: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on October 5 trapped a Deputy Director of Industrial Safety and Health and his driver while allegedly accepting a ₹25,000 bribe at Morbi.
The accused were identified as Jatinbhai Sureshbhai Adesara (43), Deputy Director (Industrial Safety and Health) and Deputy Chief Inspector-cum-Facilitator for Factories (Class-I), and Ajaysinh Nathubha Jhala (28), who works as his driver.
According to the ACB, the complainant works as a consultant under the Factories Act. Adesara allegedly demanded ₹25,000 from the complainant for approving factory plans and for not causing difficulties during factory inspections.

Jhala allegedly accepted the ₹25,000 in the presence of a panch witness. The ACB recovered the entire bribe amount and apprehended both accused at the spot.
