Thousands of Students Form Live Rangoli at GMDC Ground
October 06, 2026
Ahmedabad: Hundreds of schoolchildren gathered at the GMDC Ground in Ahmedabad for a function organised by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
One of the highlights of the event was a large live Rangoli created by the students in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other dignitaries.
A design was marked in advance on the ground, with different sections assigned specific colours. The students, wearing hats in corresponding colours, took their positions on the marked areas to form a large, colourful pattern. The formation was captured from above by a drone, revealing concentric and multicoloured circles with the word “Bharat” at the centre.
However at attempt to move the circles in Garba style failed, as many students mixed up and started hurling hats and enjoying themselves.
The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is being organised to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service and tenure in Gujarat and at the national level.
