ACB nabs Jamjodhpur Mamlatdar, Deputy Mamlatdar and broker for taking bribe

Jamnagar: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has caught the Mamlatdar and Deputy Mamlatdar of Jamjodhpur taluka in Jamnagar district along with a postman who was working as a broker in the mamlatdar office for taking bribe of Rs 122000 from a person for a land related document,
PI of the ACB who laid the trap to arrest the trio from Mamlatdar Kalyanjibhai M Joshi’s office, today said that they caught them red handed last night at around 2030 pm but the FIR was lodged this morning only.
He said that the 57 year old Mamlatdar had demanded Rs 1 lakh, his deputy Kantilal H Taral (51) had sought 20 thousand while the postman cum broker Babupuri H Goswami had asked for Rs 2000 as his share.
They have now been booked under various sections of the prevention of corruption act.
