Pramukh Swami’s antim darshan: Railways to operate Special Mumbai-Bhavnagar train

Ahmedabad: As all trains and planes to nearest railway stations and airports are fully booked following Pramukh Swami’s antim darshan(14/15/16/17 August) and last rites(17 August) in Sarangpur near Ahmedabad, the Indian Railways has decided to operate a special trail connecting Mumbai and Bhavnagar.

The special train 09037 will leave Mumbai Central at 10.10 pm and halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Botad. On return journey the train will leave Bhavnagar at 6.50 pm for Mumbai tomorrow.

The train on Bhavnagar-Mumbai side will reach Botad at 8.50 pm and Ahmedabad at 00.01 am. It will reach Mumbai Central next day at 7.25 am.

According to Divisional Railway Manger of Bhavnagar division of Western Railway, the train is being operated in order to clear heavy rush of passengers coming to Sarangpur/Botad.

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation(GSRTC) is operating special buses to and from Sarangpur. Rajkot division has deployed 17 buses on Sarangpur route.

Meanwhile Gujarat Police has advised devotees to follow the rules while traveling to and from Sarangpur to avoid accident.

Gujarat government has appointed 1 senior IAS officer and 5 IPS officers for smooth completion of antim darshan and last rites.
