Vadodara liquor party raid case: Kiran More questioned, unclaimed Merc was his

Vadodara: Cricketer Kiran More has admitted before police that he was in Akhand farm house when liquor party was going on there and police had conducted raid on December 22 evening. Police had arrested 273 rich persons and seized total 90 cars after raid at Akhand farm. Local court had later permitted car owners to get their cars back. However there were two cars that remained unclaimed as noone came forward to get them back from police. When police probed into, it was found that one of unclaimed car which was Maharashtra passing Merc was owned by former cricketer Kiran More. When probed into, Kiran More during his 45 minute questioning told police that he was indeed invited to pre-wedding party at Akhand farm that evening and had reached the location at around 10.30 pm. However when he was entering the farm after parking his car, he smelled something unsual going on there and dropped the idea to enter the party. More told police that he escaped from the place. All of those held in this case are presently released on bail. The party was hosted by Jitendra Shah and his son Alay Shah. Among those held by police were industrialist Chirayu Amin and his son.
