L&T present Rs.10 crore to CM Relief Fund, primary teachers Rs.9.67-lakh

Gandhinagar: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) whole-time director Shailendra Roy presented Rs.10-crore to Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani here today as the company’s contribution towards the CM’s Relief Fund.
This was in response to the Chief Minister’s appeal to all to donate generously to assist the State Government’s herculean task of rehabilitation of the flood-hit during the recent heavy rains in Banaskantha and Patan districts and to restore early normalcy in the region.
Mr. Rupani appreciated the company’s gesture and sense of responsibility for the calamity-hit.
Gujarat’s grant-in-aid primary school teachers also collected Rs.9.67-lakh and present the amount towards the CM’s Relief Fund for the rehabilitation of the flood-hit people.
