Bhuj: Sarhad dairy in Kutch has declared subsidy in purchase of ‘Amul daan’ cattle feed in view of summer season. According to Valamji Humbal, the Chairman of Sarhad Dairy, cattle feed is procured by Sarhad Dairy from Amul Dairy in Anand and sent to milk producers via mandlis. Sarhad Dairy has taken a decision to give Rs 40 subsidy per bag. Therefore a 50 kg bag will be available for Rs 1105 instead of Rs 1165 benefiting 60,000 families in Kutch. Sarhad Dairy is setting up 300 mt per day capacity cattle feed plant. Once it is ready, it will be capable of saving Rs 60 around.
