ACB nabs Sub Registrar in Gujarat taking bribe for making house sale document

Morbi: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police today nabbed red handed Sub Registrar of Wankaner taking a bribe of Rs 5000/- from a broker for making documents of the sale of a house.
Assistant Director of the ACB D P Chudasama said that Sub Registrar Sanjya K Mehta (52) was nabbed from his office chamber.
He had sought Rs 40 thousand from the broker for making the documents of the house sell but later agreed to take Rs 10000 of which Rs 5000 was given to him as advance. He was accepting the remaining amount today.
