Rajkot: Rajkot Urban Development Authority (RUDA) has approved a plan for construction of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot as per CGDCR criteria. The project will come up at Parapipaliya near Rajkot. The hospital will be constructed by the Centre as per the requirements identified for next 30 years period. The State government had identified a 200 acre land for AIIMS. While broad layout has received approvals, the plans of each of 19 different buildings in AIIM complex will get permissions gradually. At present the road and compound wall is going to commence.
