Gandhinagar – Mumbai Shatabdi Express gets Vistadome coach

Gandhinagar: The western railway has attached a Vista Dome coach to the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Shatabdi Express on temporary basis from today on 11th April.

The vistadome coach will enable the passengers to get a panoramic view from inside the train. It has large glass windows and a glass roof to provide a panoramic view. Union state minister of Railways Darshana Jardosh stated in a tweet, along with a video-clip that the passengers can book rockets for the vistadome coach to enjoy panoramic view on the Mumbai-Surat-Ahmedabad route with large glass windows, glass roofs, rotating seats and an observation lounge.

The Gandhinagar-Mumbai Shatabdi Express is the first train of Gujarat and the second train of Western Railway to get a vistadome coach. The train is augmented with a vistadome coach on a temporary basis from 11th April to 10th May. The vistadome coach has a seating capacity of 44 passengers.
