Gandhinagar – Mumbai Vande Bharat Express running at 127.67 % occupancy; 126.43 % in return

Gandhinagar: The Vande Bharat Express trains have an average occupancy of 99.97 percent, with five out of eight pairs of trains reportedly operating at full capacity. The train running on the Gandhinagar-Mumbai route has the highest occupancy rate of 127.67 percent, while returning from Mumbai to Gandhinagar the train has an occupancy rate of 126.43 percent, according to data shared by the Indian Railways.
The data pertains to the period between April 1, 2022, and February 8, 2023.
Currently, the Indian Railways is producing two Vande Bharat trains per month, which will connect important places across the country, according to Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off two Vande Bharat trains at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai. The two trains are Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat and Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat.
