AAP leader Yuvraj Singh in the soup over allegations of taking money

Gandhinagar: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Yuvrajsinh Jadeja who is known for supplying the details of competitive exams-related irregularities to the media is now in the soup after allegations of wheeling-dealing in the field of his expertise.

Yuvraj’s past aide Bipin Trivedi who is a coach for competitive exams has alleged that Yuvraj had taken Rs. 1 crore for not releasing the name of his friend in a dummy exam candidate case. Bipin’s video in which he shares these details with someone in a moving car has gone viral. Bipin in this video claims that Yuvrajsinh took Rs. 45 lakh to keep the name of Trivedi’s friend secret in the dummy exam candidates scam in Bhavnagar. Yuvraj also took Rs. 55 lakh to suppress the name of another person in the same case.

In his defense, Yuvrajsinh said that some political and community leaders are conspiring against him by using Bipin Trivedi. Yuvraj said he was in the past offered up to Rs. 2.5 crore but he had not accepted such an offer.

Meanwhile, Police have arrested Pradip Baraiya, Baldev Rathod, Prakash alias PK Dave and Sharad Panot from Bhavnagar in a dummy candidate racket. The accused are sent to seven days of police custody. DeshGujarat
