Patan: Devotees will be able to make online bookings for Shraddha and Tarpan rituals at the renowned Matrigaya Teertha in Siddhpur, starting from February 1, 2024.
Matrigaya Tirtha, managed by the Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board (GPYVB), is situated in the city of Siddhpur. Devotees from all regions of the country visit Siddhpur for Matrigaya Shraddha, especially during the Vishwapanchak festival from Kartak Sud Agiyaras to Punam. Lakhs of devotees honor their parents by bathing, donating, and offering Pinds at Siddhpur.
R. R. Rawal, Secretary of the Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Development Board, stated that the Matrigaya Tirtha in Siddhpur is being developed for the convenience of visitors. To ensure ease and no inconvenience in the Shraddha vidhi for devotees coming from all over the country, the Board has prepared the “Online Que Management System” portal for this purpose.
The portal will be operational from February 1, 2024. Rawal emphasized that all devotees interested in performing the Shraddha ceremony at Bindu Sarovar Siddhpur should register offline through the website: https://yatradham.gujarat.gov.in or the android application: Yatradham Of Gujarat (YOG) or directly at the registration office on-site. Subsequently, devotees can easily avail the benefits of the puja ritual. The portal offers essential facilities such as special hall registration, family-wise registration, local citizens’ darshan facility, and Shraddha ritual performance for local citizens. Individuals from across the country can register their relative’s Shraddha ceremony application online on this portal and receive a registration number. The portal allows fixing the date, time, and location of the ritual at Bindu Sarovar. Registration fees can also be paid online through POS machines with 100% digital payment.
The state government is reconstructing Bindu Sarovar at Siddhpur , with an estimated cost of Rs. 70.00 crores. Additionally, a master plan of Rs. 33.00 crores is underway to upgrade facilities and meet the pilgrimage needs for the next 25 years. This master plan aims to develop pilgrimage sites in Siddhpur city and taluka areas, enhancing convenience for pilgrims. DeshGujarat
