Prantij: Hindu organizations have called a day-long strike protesting the killing of a person in a group clash in Prantij town of Sabarkantha district today.

In a group clash in Khodiyar kuva and Maadh areas of Prantij, street lights went off and stone pelting occurred. A person named Rajubhai Rathod was killed due to head injury. He was attacked with a steel pipe during the clash. Three persons were injured in this incident of violence.

Police have filed complaint against a mob of 30 persons, among whom 17 are mentioned with their names. Police conducted a foot march and deployed extra bandobast for funeral procession of deceased youth. DeshGujarat
