False, baseless, and misleading: Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra rebutting Rahul Gandhi’s claim in Patan, Gujarat rally

Gandhinagar: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been once against caught lying. Rahul recently in his public rally for Congress party’s campaign in Patan in North Gujarat claimed that President Droupadi Murmu was not invited to Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir’s Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Rahul who nowadays in his speeches increasingly tries to trigger divisions within Hindus, also claimed that President Murmu was not invited because of her tribal origin.

Rejecting Rahul’s claim, Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra in a video statement and tweets in both Hindi and English languages put records straight and stated:

‘Today an article has been published in the Delhi edition of The Times of India. The article mentions the speech of Congress leader Shri Rahul Gandhi, delivered in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

In his speech, Shri Rahul Gandhi said that the Hon’ble President of Bharat was not invited to the Pran Pratishtha Ceremony of Shri Ramlalla at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, Ayodhya, because of her tribal origin. This statement made by Rahul Gandhi in his speech is completely false, baseless and misleading.

I would like to tell Mr. Rahul Gandhi that both the respected President of Bharat, Smt Droupadi Murmu, and former President Shri Ram Nath Kovind were invited to the auspicious ceremony held in Ayodhya. Saints, families and dignitaries from various fields who have contributed to the progress of Bharat, belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes, were invited. Also, the shramiks involved in the construction of the mandir were also present in the Prana Pratishtha ceremony. Even during the Prana Pratishtha rituals, many families belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes & other backward castes were given the opportunity to worship in the “Goodh Mandap” of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir.

Making such false, baseless, and misleading speeches without proper knowledge of facts can create serious differences in society. Hence these aspects of the speech are deeply offensive to us.’

‘महोदय ,, आज टाइम्स न्यूज़ नेटवर्क के नाम से गांधीनगर से एक समाचार टाइम्स आफ़ इण्डिया ३० अप्रैल दिल्ली संस्करण में प्रकाशित हुआ है, समाचार में कांग्रेस के नेता श्री राहुल गांधी के गांधीनगर के भाषण का उल्लेख किया गया है,, राहुल गांधी जी ने अपने भाषण में कहा है कि “”श्री राम जन्मभूमि मंदिर के प्राण प्रतिष्ठा आयोजन में भारत की माननीय राष्ट्रपति महोदया को आदिवासी होने के कारण आमंत्रित नहीं किया गया””,, राहुल गाँधी जी के भाषण के ये वाक्य पूर्णतः असत्य , निराधार व भ्रामक है ।। श्री राहुल गांधी जी को स्मरण कराना चाहूँगा कि महान भारत की राष्ट्रपति महोदया आदरणीया द्रोपदी मूर्मू जी एवं पूर्व राष्ट्रपति श्री रामनाथ कोविद जी दोनों को श्री रामजन्मभूमि मन्दिर में रामलला के नूतन विग्रह की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के पावन अवसर पर आमन्त्रित किया गया था ।। श्री राम जन्मभूमिमंदिर में प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के अवसर पर अनुसूचित जाति,अनुसूचित जनजाति और अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग समाज से जुड़े हुए संत महापुरुष , गृहस्थजन और जीवन के भिन्न भिन्न क्षेत्रों में यश प्राप्त करने वाले, भारत का गौरव बढ़ाने वाले सज्जनों को आमंत्रित किया गया था , मन्दिर में सेवारत श्रमिक कार्यक्रम में सम्मिलित रहे ,, अल्पसंख्यक उपस्थित रहे , इतना ही नहीं प्राण प्रतिष्ठा पूजन विधि के समय मंदिर के गूढ़ मण्डप में अनुसूचित जाति , जनजाति व अति पिछड़ा वर्ग के गृहस्थों को पूजन करने का अवसर मिला ।। तीन मास पूर्व सम्पन्न हुए कार्यक्रम के बारे में तथ्यों की खोज बीन किए बिना ही, असत्य,, निराधार व भ्रामक भाषण समाज में भेदभाव पैदा कर सकता है ।। भाषण के ये अंश हमारे लिए गम्भीर आपत्ति जनक हैं ।।’ चम्पत राय ( महामन्त्री , श्री राम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ क्षेत्र ) दिनांक – ३० अप्रैल २०२४ अयोध्या DeshGujarat
