Jharkhand tourist dies while paragliding at Mandvi Beach; 4 booked

Mandvi: A tourist from Jharkhand died after falling from a paragliding ride at Mandvi Beach. Following this incident, the police registered a case of culpable homicide against four individuals, including the chief manager of Shiv Waters Sports. Two of the accused, including the manager, have been detained and remanded for two days.
According to the details received, Sukhwinder Baldevsingh Kore of Jharkhand lodged a complaint at Mandvi police station against Pankaj Bhanushali, the manager of Shiv Waters Sports, the driver of vehicle GJ 12K 8872, and two unknown persons involved in the paragliding operation. The complainant’s brother works in the Air Force at Bhuj, and she was on vacation with her husband, Baldevsingh Kore, and their two children. The family visited Mandvi Beach on Friday. There, the complainant’s husband participated in a paragliding ride, paying Rs 700, but was not provided with any safety equipment. During the ride, the accused drove the vehicle at high speed, causing the complainant’s husband to fall to the ground.
After sustaining serious injuries, the local ride operators fled instead of seeking medical help. Nearby tourists rushed Baldevsingh Kore to Harsh Medical Center in Mandvi and then to KK Patel Hospital in Bhuj, where he died.
