Ahmedabad: Rs.4.60 lakh fee is being charged for BA-BCom studies by privately run Ahmedabad University(AU). The main opposition Congress party’s students wing NSUI on Wednesday protested such a high fee at the AU campus.

The activists entered the campus by jumping the gate of the university. There has also been a threat of violent agitation if the fee is not reduced in the next 24 hours.

Fees of various courses charged in the Ahmedabad according to NSUI are Rs. 4.60 lakh for BA, BSc, BCom, Integrated Arts and Rs. 3.50 lakh for BTech. DeshGujarat
