SMC dispatches 23-member fire team to flood-hit Vadodara

Surat: Amid the flood situation in the city of Vadodara following heavy rainfall and the overflowing of the Vishwamitri River, the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has dispatched a team from the fire department to assist with the flood situation. This team includes the Deputy Chief Fire Officer, a Fire Officer, a Station Officer, a Marshal Leader, a Driver, and ten Marshals, totaling 23 employees.
The fire equipment being sent includes a Fire Boat, a Rubber Boat, an Emergency Rescue Vehicle, a Tata Mobile, a Scorpio, a Rescue Kit, a Ring Buoy, Life Jackets, a Combination Tool Kit, a Snake Gun, and Rope.
