Speeding car rams into family on Science City Road in Ahmedabad; CCTV footage goes viral

Ahmedabad: In yet another case of overspeeding and a hit-and-run incident in the city, a tragic accident occurred on Science City Road, leaving a mother and son gravely injured. CCTV footage of the accident has surfaced and is going viral on social media.
In the footage, the family is seen walking on the road, with the man on the right, the child in the middle, and the woman on the left. Suddenly, a speeding car comes from behind and strikes the mother and son, propelling them forward. The car then continues to a high spot where water is pooled and comes to a stop, while the husband runs toward the car.
According to information, Ranjitsinh Bhurabhai Bhalgaria (age 38), residing in Gota, has filed a complaint stating that on September 15, he took his wife, Jivuben (age 38), and son, Pratirajsingh (age 12), on a motorcycle from their home to New Science City Road near Umiya Circle. After parking the motorcycle on the side, the family began walking from Umiya Circle to Shreeji Party Plot on New Science City Road. While passing on the road, they were struck by a driver coming from behind. After pulling his wife and son from under the car, the driver fled the scene.
As his wife and son were seriously injured, they were taken to the emergency department of Sola Civil Hospital for treatment via 108 ambulance services. According to the doctors, the wife suffered a fracture in the lumbar region, and the son sustained serious injuries to his stomach, lungs, and liver.
Now, the CCTV footage of the accident has come to light. The traffic police have registered a case and are working to apprehend the accused. DeshGujarat
