Gandhinagar: The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning of heavy rains in some parts of Gujarat for the next 48 hours, till 8:30 am on the 14th of October. As per the latest bulletin, heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat region, namely Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, and Tapi; and in the districts of Saurashtra, namely Junagadh, Porbandar, Gir Somnath, and in Diu, till 8:30 am on the 13th of October.

Thereafter, till 8:30 am on the 14th of October, heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat region, including Surat, Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, and Tapi, and in Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli; as well as in the districts of Saurashtra, namely Junagadh, Porbandar, Gir Somnath, and in Diu.
