PM Modi brought Waqf Bill, I say on ‘Danke ki chot’ that it will be passed: Shah in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Lok Sabha MP from Gandhinagar laid the foundation stone for the office of the Gujarat City Unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Shree Kamalam on Tuesday. While addressing the party workers, Shah expressed full confidence that the Modi government will pass the Waqf Amendment Bill in its third term.

The new office building of the party’s Gandhinagar City Unit will cover a 30,000-square-foot area and will have five stories. This will be a green building equipped with solar panels on the rooftop, CCTV cameras, elevators, and Wi-Fi. The office will house a library, a meeting hall with a capacity of 400 people, an auditorium with seating for 200 people, and a conference room. The office building will also accommodate the offices of the city president, general secretaries, and several wings and cells of the party. The office will be located opposite Sarita Udyan in Sector 8 of the state capital, Gandhinagar.

Addressing the groundbreaking function, the Home Minister said, “In Lok Sabha, we got a few fewer seats, but these arrogant people (the opposition) do not know that the Bharatiya Janata Party is a timeless (kaljayi) party that can sustain many defeats. We are not even defeated. I want to tell all the workers not to lose your spirit at all. The seats that we have won in 2024 total 240, which is more than the Congress party could collectively secure in 2014, 2019, and 2024. The Prime Minister is leading the country, and our Narendra Bhai, as PM, also brought forward the Waqf Bill. I say this without any hesitation (danke ki chot): the Waqf Bill will also get passed in Parliament.”

Shah further stated, “I want to thank Ruchir Bhatt, who made the Gandhinagar City party unit a full party from a half party. Workers, office bearers, and the Karyalaya (office); when these three come together, then only a party is made.”

Gandhinagar MP further stated, “When I was national president, we decided that there should be a party office in every district. Today, we have offices in 92% of all the districts across the country. I say with happiness that out of these offices, in 70% we have built libraries. This Gandhinagar office will also house a library, which will have information about all the resolutions passed by the executive of the party since the time of Jansangh. Books showcasing and informing about our ideology will be available in the library so that young workers can learn from this and become fully prepared workers. DeshGujarat
