Dhandhuka gets Rs. 65 crore Railway Overbridge

Ahmedabad: Gujarat’s Health Minister Rishikesh Patel inaugurated the newly constructed railway overbridge in Dhandhuka. Built at a cost of ₹65 crore, the overbridge was officially opened by Minister Patel today.

The overbridge is expected to benefit travelers and industrialists commuting between Ahmedabad, Saurashtra, and Surat. Minister Patel highlighted that the new infrastructure will significantly reduce delays caused by railway crossings, saving time, fuel, and money for the public.

He also stated that the state government continues to prioritize rural development through initiatives such as providing access to clean water, electricity, healthcare services, and robust road networks in Dhandhuka and nearby areas.

Furthermore, Minister Patel underscored efforts toward cultural preservation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, mentioning the recently inaugurated museum in Dhandhuka dedicated to national poet Zaverchand Meghani. He also acknowledged the state’s progress in women’s empowerment, malnutrition eradication, and girl child education through campaigns like Kanya Kelavani and school enrollment drives.

The minister also visited the Virasat Folk Art Museum and the Zaverchand Meghani Museum in Dhandhuka, where he appreciated the ancient artifacts, artwork, and inspiring exhibits showcasing Meghani’s contributions to literature and India’s freedom struggle.  DeshGujarat
