ACB Gujarat traps Village Computer Entrepreneur for taking bribe in decoy operation

Gandhinagar: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat conducted a decoy operation today and caught Vishal Rohitji Thakor, a Village Computer Entrepreneur (VCE) at Magodi Gram Panchayat, red-handed while accepting a ₹200 bribe.
According to ACB officials, Thakor allegedly harassed villagers seeking online services for Gram Panchayat and government schemes, demanding bribes ranging from ₹100 to ₹500. Acting on a tip-off, ACB set up a trap at the Gram Panchayat office in Magodi village, where Thakor was caught accepting the bribe from a decoy.
The operation was led by Police Inspector N.B. Solanki and supervised by E.C. Assistant Director N.N. Jadhav from ACB Field-2, Ahmedabad. Further investigation is underway. DeshGujarat
