Ahmedabad: The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) is going to start a special AC Volvo bus tour package to the country’s first Jyotirlinga Somnath, as well as a special tour package for Nadabet, Vadnagar, and Modhera for the citizens and tourists of the state. With this decision, tourists from the state will benefit from an affordable and comfortable visit to religious and cultural places.

Somnath Darshan Tour Package
Starting from 28th April 2025, a modern AC Volvo bus will depart from Ranip, Ahmedabad on a regular basis at 6:00 AM, reach Somnath at 4:00 PM, and return the next day.

Package Details:
Two-day/one-night package, per person Rs. 4,000 (single sharing) and Rs. 7,050 (including double-sharing hotel room).

Inclusions:

• Travel in GSRTC’s latest AC Volvo bus
• Hotel stay
• Light-sound show at Somnath
• Visits to Somnath’s tourist attractions, such as the Museum, Triveni Sangam Aarti, Bhalka Tirtha, Ram Mandir, and Geeta Mandir
• Complimentary prasad at Ram Mandir on the second day in the afternoon

• Guide arrangement for information about important places in Somnath.

Nadabet, Vadnagar, and Modhera Tour Package
(Every Saturday and Sunday from 26th April 2025)

Nadabet Seema Darshan:

• Departs from Ahmedabad at 6:00 AM, reaches Nadabet at 12:30 PM
• Fare: Rs. 1,800 per person

Vadnagar Tanariri Express and Modhera Sun Temple:

• Departs from Ahmedabad at 9:00 AM, reaches Vadnagar at 11:15 AM, and Modhera at 5:30 PM
• Fare: Rs. 1,100 per person
• Inclusions:
  • Nadabet Seema Darshan
  • Visit to the newly built museum at Vadnagar
  • Visits to Tanariri, Hatkeshwar Temple, Kirti Toran, Prerna School, and light-sound show at Modhera Sun Temple

In all tour packages, meals (lunch, breakfast, tea-water, dinner) and other personal expenses will have to be borne by the tourist.
