IMD issues heat wave alert for Ahmedabad city till May 3rd

Ahmedabad: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has today announced a yellow and orange alert for a heat wave in Ahmedabad city during the next 7 days. As per the IMD bulletin, a yellow alert for a heat wave has been issued for the city on 27th and 28th April. After that, an orange alert will be in place till May 2nd, and then again a yellow alert will be in effect on May 3rd. The bulletin issued by IMD Ahmedabad and shared by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is presented below.
