Upto nearly 4 inch rainfall in parts of Saurashtra

Gandhinagar: As many as 77 talukas across Gujarat experienced unseasonal rainfall during the 12-hour period from 6 am to 6 pm today, with Mahuva in Bhavnagar district recording the highest rainfall at 93 mm (3.66 inches) between 2 pm and 6 pm, according to the State Emergency Operation Center. Mahuva received over 2 inches of rain in just two hours, from 4 to 6 pm, as stated in the data shared by the State Emergency Operation Center, Gandhinagar.
Other significantly affected areas include Lathi (Amreli) with 2.40 inches, Lilia (Amreli) with 1.93 inches, Amreli city with 1.85 inches, and Savar Kundla with 1.5 inches. Babra and Gondal also received over an inch of rain.
The unseasonal showers, measured between 6 am and 6 pm, were particularly concentrated in the Saurashtra region, with parts of Rajkot, Botad, and Bhavnagar districts witnessing moderate rainfall. However, light showers were recorded in other regions of the state as well. DeshGujarat
