Biker doing stunt critically injured; video goes viral

Jamnagar: A shocking 15-second video has surfaced from the Jamnagar-Rajkot highway, showing a group of youths performing life-threatening stunts by lying flat on speeding motorcycles. The stunt turned tragic when one of them collided with a truck and is now battling for his life in the ICU.

According to reports, the incident took place late Saturday night when nearly 20 youths from the Navagam Ghed area were returning from the Urs fair near Laiyara. During their return, the group began racing their bikes in a stunt-like manner. Eighteen-year-old Ankit Dilipbhai Makwana lost control and collided with a truck near Khijadia.

Following the collision, his friends immediately alerted the police and emergency services. A 108 ambulance and police team reached the spot, and Ankit was rushed to Jamnagar’s G.G. Government Hospital in a critical condition. He remains in the ICU, fighting for his life.

A disturbing video of the incident has gone viral, capturing the group recklessly riding their bikes while lying flat, allegedly filming content for social media. In the footage, Ankit’s bike is seen crashing into the side of a truck, with sparks flying from the impact.
