ACB Gujarat nabs computer operator in bribe case in decoy trap

Gandhinagar: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat on Tuesday nabbed a computer operator for taking a bribe of ₹100 in a decoy trap set up at the Referral Hospital and Community Health Centre in Kalol, Gandhinagar district.
The accused, Yash Bakulbhai Bhavsar (28), was working under the PMJAY scheme, handling Ayushman card-related online work. According to the ACB, complaints had surfaced about bribes ranging from ₹100 to ₹1,000 being taken from citizens visiting for Ayushman card services. Acting on the complaint, the ACB laid a decoy trap on May 20, during which Bhavsar was caught accepting a bribe of ₹100 in return for processing the Ayushman card. He was caught red-handed, and the entire bribe amount was recovered from him. Further investigation is underway. DeshGujarat
