Gujarat’s GST Revenue Rises 4% in May 2025 Compared to Last Year

Gandhinagar: In May 2025, Gujarat’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue increased by 4% compared to the same month last year (2024). Data shared by the central government shows that the state’s GST collection rose from ₹11,325 crore in May 2024 to ₹11,737 crore in May 2025.
At the national level, GST revenue saw a rise of 13.66%, increasing from ₹1,31,783 crore in May 2024 to ₹1,49,785 crore in May 2025. Although the figures released by the central government are provisional and subject to revision, the indirect tax collection has shown growth at both the state and national levels.
It is notable that last month, in April, the increase in revenue was around 13%, as Gujarat earned ₹14,970 crore in April 2025 compared to ₹13,301 crore in April 2024. DeshGujarat
