Works on Delhi Runway for 3 Months May Also Affect Several Ahmedabad Flights Post June 15

Ahmedabad: Due to the renovation work on runway 10/28 at Delhi Airport, over 200 flights will be affected for the next three months. The renovation work will be carried out from June 15 to September 15. The flight service from Ahmedabad to Delhi will also be affected.

Out of 200 flights, 114 daily flights will be cancelled, while 86 flights will be rescheduled. The timing of 86 flights will be changed and they will be operated during non-peak hours instead of peak hours. There are 40 daily flights between Ahmedabad and Delhi.

The renovation work is being done to upgrade the runway and the instrument landing system to Cat-3 standards, which will enable flights even in dense fog conditions.
