June 11, 2025
Ahmedabad: Commuters using the SP Ring Road in Ahmedabad may face partial traffic restrictions as Western Railway’s Ahmedabad Division has announced the temporary closure of one lane of the Road Over Bridge (ROB) No. 713-A, also known as the Ropda Bridge.
According to the official statement, the northern side lane of the Ropda Bridge, located at km 485/5-6 between Vatva and Hathijan Circle, will remain closed from June 14 to June 17, 2025, to carry out strengthening and load testing work.
During this period, vehicular movement will not be allowed on the affected lane. However, road users can use the operational lane on the Geratpur side, which will remain open for traffic to ensure continued connectivity.
Authorities have advised motorists to plan their travel accordingly and cooperate with the temporary traffic arrangements for safety and smooth execution of the maintenance work. DeshGujarat
