24 hours rainfall data from across Gujarat; Central Gujarat, Kutch top the chart

Gandhinagar: As many as 153 talukas of Gujarat had rainfall in 24 hours period ending Tuesday morning.Among them only 12 talukas had rainfall above one inch. They were Anand, Savli, Nadiad, Anjar, Dolvan, Shihor, Bhachau, Khambhalia, Mandvi in Kutch, Gandhidham, Godhra and Borsad. Among them more than two inch rainfall was only received in Mandvi(Kutch), Gandhidham, Godhra and Borsad. The highest rainfall was received at Borsad which was 99 mm, followed by Godhra 95, Gandhidham 58, Mandvi 57, Khambhalia 49 and Bhachau 48. Central government’s weather arm India Meteorological Department has predicted further rainfall in parts of Gujarat.
