July 21, 2025
Ahmedabad: Increasing connectivity with the National Capital Region, IndiGo Airlines on Sunday launched direct Ahmedabad–Hindon flight services.
The Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu, inaugurated the flight services between the city’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport and Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport along with nine other new routes.
As per the details, flight number 6E 2567 will depart daily at 8:55 am from Terminal 1 of SVPI Airport and land at Hindon Airport at 10:25 am, with a flight time of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the Hindon–Ahmedabad flight will operate six days a week (except Saturday), taking off from Hindon at 5:35 pm and landing at SVPI at 7:05 pm.
The new service is expected to significantly ease travel to several destinations in North India. Until now, direct flight options from Ahmedabad to the National Capital Region have been limited to Delhi Airport. With this addition, passengers will benefit from improved connectivity via Hindon Airport, reducing the hassle of travelling to the busy IGI Airport in Delhi.
Other than Ahmedabad, the other destinations to which the flights were launched include Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Varanasi, and Indore. DeshGujarat
