Gujarat govt declares 2% DA hike for GSRTC employees

Ahmedabad: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved a 2% increase in the dearness allowance (DA) for employees of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC). The allowance, previously at 53%, will now be raised to 55%, announced the Minister of State for Transport, Harsh Sanghvi, today.
Along with this hike, arrears of the dearness allowance will also be cleared, ensuring that employees receive all pending dues. This positive decision is expected to benefit State Transport Corporation employees to the tune of over ₹30 crore.
