Surat: In view of the forthcoming festive season, such as Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath Puja, many festival Special Trains will originate/terminate at Udhna station, which is expected to result in significant increase in passenger footfall at this station. A substantial surge in passenger traffic is anticipated and hence as a crowd control measure, the halt of few trains that were temporarily discontinued at Surat station is being restored back with effect from 10^th October, 2025, till further advice.

According to a press release issued by the Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, the halts of some of the UP & DOWN trains that were temporarily skipped at Surat station in view of o­ngoing station redevelopment work, are being restored with effect from 10^th October, 2025. The details of these trains are as under:
