Gandhinagar: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) organised a training workshop at the Town Hall in Gandhinagar on Monday. The session was attended by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, state BJP president Jagdish Vishwakarma, party’s general secretary (organisation) Ratnakar, all party MLAs, district presidents, and in-charge leaders.
During the workshop, an extensive discussion was held on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, which is set to begin in the state from Tuesday. Party leaders and workers were briefed on how to coordinate effectively with the Election Commission during the voter list correction, addition, and update process ahead of the upcoming polls.
State coordinator for the voter revision campaign and MP Hemang Joshi said the meeting aimed to ensure a more effective and comprehensive voter revision process.
“This is the first large-scale voter revision drive in nearly two decades, and efforts are being made to ensure no eligible voter is left out,” Joshi said.
Leaders at the workshop urged party workers to play an active role in the campaign by conducting door-to-door outreach for voter list verification and updates. DeshGujarat
