GujRERA makes detailed on-site project information boards mandatory
December 02, 2025
Gandhinagar: An order issued by the Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) last week, directing all construction sites to display boards detailing the nature of the ongoing project, came into force on Monday. The boards must now provide comprehensive information, including the RERA registration number, construction details, project specifications, amenities, the designated RERA collection bank account, and any project loans. This move aims to give prospective homebuyers easy access to essential project details.
Earlier, only the RERA registration number was displayed at construction sites, while buyers had to visit the authority’s website for further information. “It was observed that people were unaware of where to find additional details,” the order noted.
As per the new mandate, builders must install a board, banner, hoarding, or digital display measuring two metres by 1.2 metres at the project entrance, positioned 1.5 to 2 metres above the ground. The display must be waterproof, with a white or yellow background, and text no smaller than 2.5 cm. It should also feature a 15 cm by 15 cm QR code that the interested buyer can scan to get complete project information. DeshGujarat
